How To Make Your Own eJuice

Let's face it, sometimes buying enough juice to get you through the week is a bit of a nightmare. You are standing in the shop, vape in hand, and bright packaging and funky bottles are glaring straight back at you. You check the change in your pocket and there is no way you can stretch to that awesome looking Max VG bottle you know is going to blow you away. 

It's times like these that having the knowledge and a few store cupboard essentials means you can make your own amazing flavours at whatever PG/VG mix you want. Don't get me wrong, this tutorial is no way meant to replace buying juice, to be honest, the shop bought products are superior, but hey with this guide you will definitely be able to make some decent day to day juices, and the money savings are unbelievable.

What you will need:

PG LIQUID

VG LIQUID

NICOTINE ( OPTIONAL )

SYRINGES

EMPTY BOTTLES

LATEX GLOVES

FLAVORINGS

Step One:

Take your empty bottle and place on a sturdy table with the lid off.

Step Two:

Using a mixing guide like THIS first add your desired amount of VG liquid to the bottle, followed by your desired amount of PG liquid to the bottle. I would recommend to ALWAYS use a syringe and measure using ML's. Trying to count how many drops you've added just isn't accurate enough.

Step Three:

Put the lid on your bottle and give it a good shake. I really do mean a good shake, maybe for 1-2 minutes.

Step Four:

Now time to add the flavour you want. There are hundreds of recipes on google and hundreds of stores you can get neat flavours from. I like to use Make My Vape They have some amazing flavours Which can be used as they are, or mixed together to create some really interesting one-off flavours. Remember flavourings are almost always suspended in PG liquid, the calculator takes that into consideration.

Step Five:

Now time to add the nicotine if you want. Again use the calculator HERE to work out how much to use. ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES!! Nicotine is a nasty substance and can lead to skin irritation.

Step Six:

Put the lid on tight and give the bottle another good shake for a couple of minutes. Now it is time to leave it steeping. For a fruit flavour i normally leave for two days in a cool/dark place, and for desert flavours i normally leave for 2-3 weeks in a cool/dark place.

After following these steps make sure to shake the bottle at least once a day and remove the lid to allow new air into the bottle at least once a day too.

I always make 30/70 PG/VG mix. Always 4mg Nicotine. Always 20% Flavor.

This mix makes it just the way I like it, but experiment that's half the fun.
